About Kicking Eagle...

Native Americans refer to him as "The Ambassador of The People." They call him Grandfather as a matter of respect, but it has nothing to do with age. Eagle is the appointed Lifetime Ambassador of the United Northern Native Americans. He is also the appointed Ambassador of the United Eastern Lenape Nation, the Ouachita Confederacy, the Red Hawk American Indian Cultural Society, and of the Beaver Creek (Leni Lenape) Tribe of Kentucky. In addition, he has been honored with membership in the United Lenape Indian Nation of North Ameria, the Tsalagiyi Nvdagi (Texas Cherokee), The People of the Wyoming Trail Council, the Tennessee Native American Indian Council, the California Indian Education Association, The Ouachita Indian Confederation of Arkansas, and the American Indian Cultural Association of Texas.

Eagle says; "I was born at an early age and that's the only reason I'm as old as I am." He has climbed many mountains during his lifetime, and has discovered that to reach the top, you must be willing to suffer the consequences along the way. He says: "Everything is a matter of attitude, and every attitude matters. Some people wish they could climb a mountain; some will hope they'll climb the mountain; some will pray that they climb the mountain. That's well and good, but if you expect to get to the top, I suggest that you wish, hope, and pray along the way!  There are many mountains in life.  Don't waste time looking for the mountain; the mountain will find you soon enough!"

The mountains he speaks of are not the mountains most people think of. He reiterates: "There are mountains of education, mountains of experience, and mountains of pain to mention a few. There are also mountains of love, compassion, trust, and understanding. These mountains surround us but many people don't see them. Some see the mountains but don't recognize them, and some think the mountains block their path.  Mountains can be moved or removed with faith the size of a mustard seed."

Fans and friends of all ages and cultures worldwide have read Eagle's books. Others know him as a motivational speaker. Still others know him as the host of the EagleTalk radio program. On the air or in person, he talks about anything and everything pertaining to God, America, and traditional values. Old Glory, history, patriotism, common sense, confidence, and integrity in business are a few of his favorite topics.  Another is positivity, which is the ability to stay positive even when you find a really good reason to be negative.  Eagle says:  "Some of my most negative experiences have turned out to be the most positive!"

"Eagle" is the author of "The Legend Begins!", "I Know Ican!", "Billy Banjo!", and the Pow-Wow Trilogy. The three books of the trilogy include Pow-Wow, Pow-Wow Justice, and Pow-Wow Summit. Eagle's first book (The Legend Begins!) was released in 1994 at the State Fair of Texas and it introduced Kicking Eagle and the young spirit eagle, "Ican." Legend was referred to by a Texas newspaper as "The biggest little book in America" and Eagle made personal appearances in hundreds of cities and communities across America following its' release.

With years of experience in country music, horseshoeing, rodeoing, the entertainment business, and law enforcement, Eagle has life experiences to draw from when it comes to his books, radio shows and newspaper articles. He has appeared as the guest speaker for schools and colleges nationwide. He continues to speak at prisons, coliseums, benefits, entertainment events, and community celebrations. He has conducted seminars for Native American study groups and corporations and has been the featured storyteller at pow-wows nationwide. He has represented many country and rockabilly entertainers over the years.  He is the founder of the World Rockabilly Coalition and of Country Bandstand U.SA. His entertainment related affiliations include The Academy of Country & Western Music (now the Academy of Country Music), Nashville Songwriters Association, Country Music Association, Broadcast Music Incorporated, and the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers.

Kicking Eagle has spoken at the Medicine Ways Conference in Riverside, California; for the Eastern Delaware Nations Pow-Wow in Pennsylvania; the California Indian Education Association; the American Indian Cultural Association of Texas; the Texas Criminal Justice System; Texas War On Drugs; the Eckhart Foundation; Special Olympics, the Air National Guard Recruiting & Retention Conference at Goat Island (Newport), Rhode Island; and for organizations, businesses, fairs and entertainment events.

Eagle continues to motivate America as the guest on radio and television programs.  He has "lit up the phone lines" on talk shows and newscasts including Talk America, U.S.A. Radio Daily, and Worldwide Christian Radio.  Through the news media his messages have reached millions.

Claiming the title of World Champion Mistake Maker, Eagle says: "It's not the mistakes that count; it's the got-it-rights, so when you make mistakes, learn from them and keep right on making them until you got-it-right!"

As a peace officer Eagle trained with local, state, federal and international agencies.  His affiliations include the Texas Peace Officers Association, International Narcotic Enforcement Officers Association, Texas Narcotic Officers Association, Texas Rangers Association, Tennessee Sheriffs' Association, and the Anti-Drug Coalition. His ability to share experience (including mistakes) instills confidence, common sense, patriotism, and traditional values to his readers and live audiences. He encourages people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds to be motivated to do their best at whatever they do. The message is universal and it is timeless.

According to Eagle: "God has Blessed each of us. We're all here on assignment, and have our own special gifts, talents, and an assignment. We can use those in a postive way, or in a negative way. The choice is ours. I've made many mistakes during my life and no doubt will make more. However, I try to learn from each mistake and use that knowledge to help others through theirs."

Through books, the media, and personal appearances, Kicking Eagle shares what others have called "his vast wisdom".  He often spends as much time "motivating" an individual as he might spend talking to thousands in an auditorium.  Anyone that knows Eagle knows that he has provided "free speech" countless times for individuals, organizations, and events that had no budget for motivation, but had the need.

A story for all ages, "The Legend Begins" was released  in 1994. Filled with traditional values, patriotism, inspiration, education, and motivation, it has been read around the world.
INSPIRATION - MOTIVATION - EDUCATION

IT'S ALL A MATTER OF ATTITUDE!
Everything is a matter of attitude... and every attitude matters. There are many "could be on the honor-roll students" failing not only their classes at school... but at confidence, common sense, patriotism, courtesy, and communication with their friends and with their family. They are also failing at goal-setting, dreaming, and dream-chasing. There is an over-abundance of lack of self-esteem, self-respect, and respect for others and their property. It's time to get back to basics and common sense, along with positive role-models. Not "perfect" people, but people seeking and encouraging personal perfection. Contact me anytime by email and I'll get back to you asap.

"Going through bad times?

Make an unforgiveable mistake? I'm the world champion mistake-maker. We're all spirits here on earth having a human experience and we are going to make mistakes. But we're supposed to learn from our mistakes. It's not the mistakes that count, but the got-it-rights. So, keep right on making mistakes, learn from them, and keep making new mistakes until you got-it-right. By having experienced your experience, you'll have the experience necessary to help others you meet along life's trail. We're all going to make mistakes, suffer losses, suffer set-backs. Sometimes we'll think we're at the end-of-the-trail. We're never at the end as long as we don't give up. We're all here on an assignment from God. He didn't give any of us an assignment that He doesn't think we can handle. He'll provide the means, the people, the time, and the place. Meanwhile, fly high, avoid gophers, realize that YOU represent God and America... and keep on praying!"

I BELIEVE IN AMERICA!

Copyright 1988 Kicking Eagle International

I believe in education
I believe in God above
And freedom of religion
And I certainly believe in love...
I believe in equal rights for all
I believe in prayer in school,
I believe in man's self-confidence
And I believe in integrity too.

I believe in peace and freedom
But I don't believe they come "free,"
I believe in Truth and Justice
Backed up by you and me...
I believe in the Constitution
And of course, "The Bill of Rights"
I believe in family unity
And a man alone who fights.

I believe in the American Eagle
The symbol of the U.S.A.
I believe in the Stars and Stripes
Flying proudly every day...
I believe in the right to carry arms
To protect the family and home,
And to defend what all I believe
And I believe I'm not alone...

I believe in America!
